A prominent leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a former federal minister, stated on Monday that a campaign of character assassination against former prime minister Imran Khan is set to be launched through the use of fabricated videos and audio recordings.
The government, according to Fawad Chaudhry, attempted to utilize blasphemy suits against political opponents, according to a video message posted on the social networking site Twitter.
He also stated that the government will launch a huge campaign against the reputation of Imran Khan, noting that these are the final weeks of the dummy administration and that the real liberation movement will not be slowed down as a result of these concerns.
Shehbaz Gill’s return from the United States was prevented from being arrested by the authorities earlier in the day, according to the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Faisal Chaudhry filed a petition for protective bail for Shehbaz Gill, fearing that he might be arrested upon his return from a trip to the United States. Chief Justice Athar Minallah accepted the petition.
He pleaded with the court that Gill was in America on the day of the occurrence and that he was not responsible for it. According to Faisal Chaudhry, who attended on behalf of the petitioner, “a number of FIRs related to the incident have been filed in Faisalabad and other cities, which is in violation of the laws of the land.”
