According to a security guard stationed at the office, three unidentified armed guys entered the building and took hostages from the employees. “They issued dire threats to them,” he continued, claiming that the men tied the hands of the employees.
Upon leaving the office, the unidentified males, according to the security, left a trail of destruction behind them.
Meanwhile, SSP Operations Abdul Haq Umarani stated that the police department had received allegations of a fire at the customs office and that they were investigating. Meanwhile, he said, no proof of the explosion has been discovered.
“An investigation of the guards has begun. “After the fire has been extinguished, we will conduct an additional investigation,” the SSP stated.
However, according to rescue personnel who spoke on the condition of anonymity, a person had been hurt as a result of the explosion. The customs office was also engulfed in flames as a result of the explosion, according to the authorities.
The attack is still under investigation, and no group has yet claimed responsibility.
