Several Pakistani showbiz artists strongly condemned the tragic incident occured in Nabawi Mosque in Medina on April 28. They expressed their grief and sorrow on social media.
Actress Sadia Khan took aim at individuals who yelled slogans outside Masjid-E-Nabawi. She said, “those responsible for the atrocious incident on Roza-E-Rasool should asham of themselves. Don’t travel to the holiest place on earth if you can’t respect its sacred sites. Keep your nasty politics at home.
According to another actress Iffat Omar, “Pakistan has to be like Medina State, Not make Medina to be like Pakistan.”
Moreover, Pakistani male artists also condemned the incident and usage of improper slogans against cabinet members in Medina.
Actor Faysal Quraishi said, “Astighfarullah. The sanctity of the holy shrine has not honoured because of the political differences and the bloodshed.”
A comedian and presenter Syed Shafaat Ali also spoke out against the singing of anti-politician chants in Masjid-e-Nabawi. He said that the two holy places should not use for political purposes. Be afraid of Allah Almighty.
It should note that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his 13-member entourage arrived in Madinah on April 28. The Prime Minister and his team came later at Roza Rasool to the Masjid-e-Nabawi. Whereas, some individuals began chanting political slogans.
