Foreign Minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, congratulating him on his appointment.
They emphasized the significance of the familial relations that exist between the two countries.
FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed gratitude to Iran for its assistance in the Kashmir conflict.
“Iran’s Foreign Minister, Amir Abdolahian, called FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to express his congratulations. The significance of fraternal ties was underlined. Iran’s support for Kashmir and sympathy with Palestine have been acknowledged. “The Iranian Foreign Minister asked Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to visit Iran, and Zardari accepted the invitation,” the Foreign Office’s spokesperson stated in a Twitter message.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini met with Pakistani Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar in Islamabad and discussed methods and means to further grow bilateral relations between the two countries.
In her remarks, the minister of state expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for Iran’s unwavering support for the country in the Kashmir dispute.
She expressed delight at the similarity of viewpoints between the two countries on matters of regional and worldwide significance.
