It has decided that Pakistan and Japan will expand their cooperation in the sphere of information technology (IT). The Japanese ambassador to Pakistan paid a courtesy call on the country’s federal minister for information technology and telecommunications on Tuesday.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Information Technology were also in attendance during the meeting. Both parties agreed at the discussion that the Pakistan and Japan cooperation in the sphere of IT should expand.
Federal Minister for Information Technology remarked that Pakistan places a high emphasis on its relations with Japan. He stated that it is critical for the two nations to strengthen their collaboration in the fields of IT and telecommunications.
He further stated that Pakistan has tremendous potential in the field of information technology. So, Japan may benefit from the expertise of Pakistani information technology professionals. He went on to say that Japanese information technology businesses can acquire the services of Pakistani IT specialists.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications will offer all feasible support to Japanese enterprises. The Japanese Ambassador stated that Pakistani youth are capable and bright, and that Pakistan’s IT expertise may be useful to Japan.
