The Daily Star reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s California neighbors are displeased with Harry’s recent remarks that they’ve been “welcomed with open arms” in the US.
Meghan and Harry moved to Montecito, California in 2020, after leaving the UK as senior royals, with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Harry recently told NBC News’ Hoda Kotb that he felt ‘at home’ in America. The community in Santa Barbara has been amazing, he added.
Prince Harry’s assertion, according to Richard Mineards of the Montecito Journal, is untrue.
“Harry and Meghan haven’t become part of the community,” Mineards added. “It’s a beautiful spot to go out, and they’ve been absent. ‘Where are they?’”
Mineard’s assertions have eluded Prince Harry and Meghan.
