Each new ‘Fast & Furious’ film honors Paul Walker : Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel says he has continued the series to ‘honor’ the late Paul Walker. Walker featured as Brian O’Connor with Diesel in the mega-hit franchise, but he died in a vehicle accident in 2013.

To celebrate the start of filming for the final installment of the franchise, Fast 10, Diesel took to Instagram to pay tribute to his late buddy and family.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t want to go back in time and talk Pablo out of going back to LA that thanksgiving weekend,” Diesel wrote in his lengthy email to Walker.

“Every Fast film I make must always pay tribute to my brother Pablo,” he continued (Walker). If I ever find myself in the real world, I will look for his family.

When Meadow Walker asked Diesel to walk her down the aisle at her wedding, Diesel said he cried. Walker’s mother also requested him to bring Brian back to Fast.

“When his mother asks me to bring Brian back to the screen, I take it very seriously.”

The Fast 10 script didn’t include Jordana Brewster’s Mia Toretto, but Diesel added her because “I’ve credited the fraternity of Dom and Brian to her.”
