As captain of England XI in the upcoming Soccer Aid charity match, Liam Payne has rented out a whole football stadium to train.
For a rehearsal session on Wednesday, the One Direction alum asked Billericay Town to borrow New Lodge’s 5,000 capacity.
Payne was seen exiting a practice session with a bleeding knee before facing Usain Bolt’s World XI in June.
An anonymous insider informed the newspaper that “Liam asked Greg if he and his friends could use the pitch, and Greg got the wheels in action.”
A anxious captain, he didn’t look awful considering.
“His pals got involved, and he ended up with a gushing knee but no long-term consequences. “Liam appeared to be in good health.”
