The Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP) has decided to become a member of the federal cabinet after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told the coalition partner that a judicial commission would be established to investigate the Chaghi attack.
According to sources familiar with the situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with a group from the BNP-Mengal party, which included party chairman Sardar Akhtar Mengal, on Thursday.
A complaint cell would be set up under the supervision of the Inspector General of Frontier Corps, the prime minister informed Mengal at the meeting. An inquiry commission into the Chaghi incident has already been formed, the prime minister informed Mengal.
The PM also informed the leader of the BNP that a judicial commission would be established if the investigating committee was unable to determine the facts of the occurrence.

Rana Sanaullah and Khwaja Saad Rafique, both federal ministers, were also in attendance for the meeting.
According to reliable sources, the Balochistan National Party (BNP) will be given two ministries in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet, with Agha Hassan Baloch being appointed Federal Minister for Science and Technology and Hashim Notezai being appointed Minister of State for Energy.
It is important to note that 34 ministers took the oath of office during the first phase of the cabinet.
