After taking office earlier this week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that his cabinet would be announced shortly after.
When asked PM Shehbaz Sharif about the cabinet members’ identities, he indicated they would be announced in two phases during an Iftar supper held for the coalition partners. He went on to say that the names of the ministers who would be admitted into his cabinet in the first phase would be announced soon and that more ministers will be brought into his ministry in the second phase in the coming days.
The prime minister stated that he would bring his allies along with him in order to alleviate the issues that their constituents were experiencing.
