Foodpanda teamed up with Punjab Food Authority (PFA) for necessary training of homechefs

An attempt to improve food packaging and ensure that sanitary requirements must have followed during food preparation. Foodpanda teamed with the Punjab Food Authority to teach Homechefs on increased safety measures and SOPs.

When the training session has held, the goal was to establish and promote a food safety culture throughout Punjab. It must instructed the home cooks in the fundamentals of good hygiene and safe food preparation techniques.

“Punjab Food Authority is glad to partner with foodpanda and teach these creative individuals on cleanliness and safe food preparation,” said Mustafa Dogar, Additional DG, PFA, in remarks made on the occasion. In order to maintain a healthy atmosphere, it is our mission to promote this culture and urge everyone to follow these guidelines.”

Homechefs are simply folks who run their businesses out of their own homes and sell their meals through internet marketplaces. There are already many thousand registered homechefs on foodpanda. They accepted after passing thorough routine inspections for food hygiene, quality, safety, packaging, and other factors.

The company’s goal is to double the number of registered homechefs in the next two years. It is bringing the total number of registered homechefs to 100,000.
