As a result of the Supreme Court’s decision on the National Assembly deputy speaker’s decision on the no-trust resolution, Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet and also will address the nation tomorrow.
Fawad Chaudhry, the minister of information, announced on Twitter that the prime minister will preside over meetings of his cabinet and the ruling PTI’s parliamentary committee tomorrow.
He went on to say that Prime Minister Imran Khan would address the nation later.
In an earlier ruling, a five-judge larger bench of the Supreme Court presided over by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, declared that the happenings of April 3, including the NA deputy speaker’s decision and the subsequent dissolution of the assembly, were in violation of the constitution and had no legal effect, and that the ruling was overturned.

In a ruling issued on April 9, Saturday, the Supreme Court directed the speaker of the National Assembly (NA) to convene a session of the lower house of Parliament in order to vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
