The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) has set a target of absorbing 30 million broadband customers within 18 months as a benchmark for the country.
From January through March, a total of 10 million new broadband subscribers were signed up. The number of broadband users in the Pakistan was 104 million in January 2022, according to the latest available data. In the next 15 months, the ministry hopes to add 20 million new users to its database.
