Dr. Shahbaz Gill, leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former secretary-general of the Prime Minister SAPM, expressed sorrow on Monday for the allegations leveled by former senior Punjab minister Aleem Khan.
Dr. Shahbaz Gill, in a video message to Aleem Khan, claimed that Aleem Khan should have brought the allegations to his attention while he was still a member of the cabinet.
In his statement, he claimed that Aleem Khan was not coerced into joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and claimed that the frustrated party leader attempted to get 300 acres of land along the river declared legal.
Shahbaz Gill went on to declare multiple times that Aleem Khan’s business was in direct contrast with the PTI’s agenda, which he described as “a travesty of justice.”
Earlier, Aleem Khan, a disgruntled leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), remarked on Monday that it would be terrible to watch Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi declare Naya Pakistan, referring to the country’s independence.
Aleem Khan, in an interview with the media in Lahore, stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan used to refer to Pervaiz Elahi as “the biggest dacoit in the province of Punjab.” “Is he going to establish Naya Pakistan now?” he wondered.
In response, Khan asked why there was a need for such a conflict when the PML-Q leader was about to be appointed Punjab’s chief minister. The disappointed PTI stalwart demanded that the party’s leadership identify the individual who has made the most sacrifices, noting that he worked around the clock for the country and took part in the 126-day sit-in.
