Meta platforms will collaborate with the State Bank of Pakistan’s National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF). They will provide training and upskilling for female entrepreneurs in Pakistan. This will help the country’s women-owned companies thrive and more resilient.
It has implemented as part of Meta’s ‘SheMeansBusiness’ flagship women empowerment initiative. ‘SheMeansBusiness’ has launched in Pakistan in May 2020 in conjunction with the SBP and the USAID.
Under the terms of the agreement, Meta will collaborate with the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF). They provide online training for 3,000 women entrepreneurs who are also members of NIBAF’s National Financial Literacy Program.
Moreover, it is the major goal of the programme to improve women’s business finance knowledge. It will assist them build their enterprises in order to improve their socioeconomic status and position in the society. The NFLP-Y initiative aims to help Pakistanis better manage their personal finances and has a wide impact.
