Imran Khan alleged that Donald Lu informed Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, Asad Majeed, that there would be ramifications if the Pakistani prime minister survived the National Assembly’s vote of no confidence.
PM Khan claimed that the no-confidence motion against him was a “foreign conspiracy,” and he expressed gratitude to Allah for the fact that it was defeated.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had previously stated, while addressing members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party in Islamabad, “Ok, I’m assuming the name of the United States, the conspiracy has been devised with the assistance of America to remove me.”
The no-confidence resolution against the prime minister was previously labeled “unconstitutional” by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, who said it was sponsored by “foreign powers.”
