According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), three terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The IBO was carried out in the Kalachi neighborhood of Dera Ismail Khan because of reports of terrorist activity in the area.
Terrorists were killed in a fierce exchange of fire during which three were killed. Weapons and ammunition were also retrieved from the terrorists who were killed, according to the spokeswoman.
The operation was well received by the locals, who stated their full support for the operation’s goal of eliminating the threat of terrorism from the area.
Earlier in the month of March, an intensive exchange of fire in the Bloro area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bajaur district resulted in the deaths of four militants and the martyrdom of two troops.
A statement from the ISPR stated that the terrorists have resorted to firing on security forces in Bloro, Bajaur district, according to the ISPR spokesperson.
Four terrorists were killed as a consequence of a swift response by the security forces, who engaged the terrorists’ location and successfully engaged them.
In the aftermath of their valiant battle, Naib Subedar lshtiaq (a native of Nowshera) and Sepoy Kamran (a local of Orakzai) chose martyrdom over life. As a result of the terrorists’ firing, three other innocent individuals had also embraced shahadat.
