‘This nation is not a beggar’, Asad despises Shahbaz Sharif for his statement

In response to Shahbaz Sharif’s statement of “beggars can’t be choosers”, Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives insulted the PML-N President and PDM nominee for the prime ministership.

Taking to Twitter, Asad informed Sharif that his country is not a beggar, while also pointing out that a major portion of his elite is unethical and does not shy away from begging for his own gain.

His remarks were followed by the following statement: “This nation is honorable and dignified.” “And that’s why, at this critical juncture, they stand by a man of character and principles (Prime Minister Imran Khan),” the minister finished his Twitter message.


Shehbaz Sharif made his statements during an appearance on the private news channel Program earlier on Friday, during which he stated that “beggars can’t be choosers.”

Shehbaz responded to one of the questions by saying, “Beggars can’t be choosers.” We are unable to fight wars. “We have to provide for our people.”

However, later The opposition leader, Shahbaz Sharif, has explained his statement that “Beggars can’t be choosers,” which he made in a private television appearance on Friday. True freedom, he claimed, can never be attained without financial independence.

He continued, “Unfortunately, Pakistan is not economically self-sufficient, and our country relies on loans from international organizations to live.”
