Actor Will Smith was wrong and apologize over slapping Chris Rock

An American actor Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 was wrong and apologize for his actions. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued a statement that hinted to file lawsuit against him.

According to reports, a vital showbiz function has disrupted after one actor smacked another. The actor’s apology has sought over fear of possible legal action. Will Smith took to Instagram to express his displeasure and publicaly apologize to Chris Rock.

He wrote, “Please accept my apologies, I crossed the line and was incorrect. ‘I want to apologize to you in public.”

However, comedian Chris Rock made light of Will Smith’s wife during the Oscars 2022 that caused a snafu. Since the occurrence, the executive producers of the studio have made no remark.

Will Smith won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Venus and Serena Williams’ father in the film King Richard. He also apologised to the Academy producers, cast and crew, fans and King Richard in his message.

Furthermore, for more than two decades, he has collaborated with the likes of Netflix, Disney, and Apple TV. After the event, the corporations have requested to reply but they refused to do so.

Many additional films have included Will Smith, who is one of Hollywood’s most costly performers. Some of his credits include Independence Day and Minus One. More than 9 billion dollars has been earned by his flicks.
