PML-N Suggests Appointing Aleem Khan to Punjab CM Vacancy

Javed Latif, a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the National Assembly (MNA), has indicated that his political party may nominate Aleem Khan, a dissident leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), for the seat of Punjab chief minister (CM).

Javed Latif, a PML-N member of parliament, stated that Aleem Khan could be a candidate for the position of Punjab chief minister (CM). According to Latif, political parties will be compelled to make certain decisions as a result of their participation in the alliance.

In the Punjab Assembly, on the other hand, we have a comfortable majority.” Aleem Khan is a possible candidate for the position of the chief minister. The opposition will be supported by the PML-Q. It will be Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain who will make the final choice, and I am hopeful that he would support the opposition.”

In response to Latif’s assertions, PTI minister Farrukh Habib stated that the opposition is stunned after receiving a major surprise that has deflected their attention away from Pervaiz Elahi and onto Aleem Khan at this time.

He stated that the coalition parties will continue to support the PTI-led government in the coming months. Regarding Aleem Khan’s likely candidacy, Habib stated that the government will profit from the PTI’s friends receiving cabinet portfolios.

Minister Farrukh Habib stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the real policymaker and that he consults with his staff on a regular basis.

Usman Buzdar, the Punjab chief minister (CM), had earlier submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan, marking a significant event.

A tweet from Farrukh Habib, the State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, verified the story as being true.

In a post on his Twitter account, Farukh Habib stated that the issues with the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) had been resolved and that the party has announced that it will support Prime Minister Imran Khan ahead of the no-confidence motion in the government.

Following the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Prime Minister Khan decided to propose Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the new chief minister of Punjab.
