The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), a key ally of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Centre and Punjab, met with a team from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Monday ahead of a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan.
At the parliament loges in Islamabad, a group led by the Chaudhry brothers met with representatives from MQM-Pakistan, which is a crucial supporter of the ruling PTI in the country’s federal government.
A no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and other political issues are discussed by the leaders of both parties at the meeting.
Tariq Bashir Cheema, Moonis Elahi, Salik Elahi, Kamil Ali Agha, and Farukh Khan, all members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q, were also present at the meeting.
Sources with knowledge of the situation informed us that allies have decided to declare their final judgment on the no-trust motion within two days, according to the sources.
Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Waseem Akhtar, Kanwar Naveed Jamil, IT Minister Ameenul Haq, and senior party leader Amir Khan were among the members of the MQM-P delegation at the meeting.
