Heer Ismail Soho is Sindh’s first female tribal chief

Heer Ismail Soho is the first female chief of her tribe in Sindh’s southern region, and she has been elected as the country’s first female president in Sindh.

Heer Ismail will officially relinquish control over the Soho clan, which has long roots in the Sujawal region’s Mirpur Bathoro district, after Eid-ul-Fitr in May, when the clan will have its annual festival as a result of the law.

Because of his remarkable contributions to politics and social service, the tribal elders and spiritual leader unanimously chose his daughter to be the tribe’s next leader following his death as a token of respect.
