Fawad claims Pakistan is leading the Muslim Ummah at the OIC Moot

As the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met in Islamabad on Tuesday to discuss issues affecting Muslims around the world, Minister for Information Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain stated that Pakistan is positioned as the leader of the entire Muslim Ummah was a source of national pride for every Pakistani.

Speaking to the media in this city, the minister stated that as many as 32 foreign ministers from different countries, as well as more than 700 delegates, were attending the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference, which was currently taking place at the Parliament House to discuss the problems faced by Muslims.

According to him, Pakistan was holding the second OIC meeting in less than three months, and he praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for his efforts on the occasion. Organizing the second meeting in less than three months is a significant accomplishment on the part of the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government, he continued.

Fawad stated that it was a great honor for Pakistan that all international delegates had arrived in the country to attend the 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), despite the fact that the country was now experiencing a political crisis.
