Prime Minister Imran Khan will speak to a crowd in the Malakand area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) today.
According to individuals familiar with the situation, the Malakand public meeting is part of the prime minister’s political campaigning after the opposition filed a no-trust motion against him.
“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will convene an important meeting of the political committee in Islamabad before heading for Malakand,” they stated, adding that “the meeting would ruminate over the political situation while being updated on interactions with PTI MNAs and allies.”
According to reports, the prime minister will also be briefed on the presidential reference to the Supreme Court seeking clarification on the interpretation of Article 63 (A) of Pakistan’s Constitution.
Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter earlier in the day to release the logo of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad on March 27 ahead of a no-confidence vote against him, saying he wanted all attendance records to be smashed on the day.
Taking to Twitter from his own account, Prime Minister Imran Khan declared in a series of messages that he wants all public attendance records broken in order to battle for Pakistan’s spirit.
“We stand for what is right and condemn political mafias’ shameless purchasing of politicians’ souls to protect their looted wealth,” Prime Minister Imran Khan remarked.
