A clarification was released by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Saturday in response to the party’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s comments regarding disrupting the OIC CFM conference.
Zulfiqar Ali Badar, Bilawal’s spokesperson, issued a clarification on Twitter, stating that the PPP chairman is not opposed to the OIC moot, but he cautioned the government against fleeing by taking advantage of the moot.
He claimed that the PPP revitalized the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and that then-prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto convened the OIC assembly in Pakistan.
Earlier in the day, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), warned that if a no-confidence vote is not tabled on Monday, the entire opposition will refuse to allow the OIC session to go place.
Earlier, he had addressed the media during a meeting of the unified opposition in Islamabad, Pakistan.
