PM Imran Khan cancelled his Kurram visit

Because of adverse weather, Prime Minister Imran Khan canceled his planned visit to Parachinar in Kurram district on Friday till further notice.

PTI senator Faisal Javed shared his thoughts on the decision on Twitter, announcing it as part of his party’s platform.

In an earlier report, it was stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan will travel to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) district of Kurram, where he will address a large crowd of people.

The governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the chief minister of the province, and a number of federal ministers will accompany the prime minister Imran Khan on the Kurram visit.

In an earlier decision, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) barred Prime Minister Khan from traveling to the Kurram district of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, and federal and provincial ministers were handed show-cause letters by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) recently for breaking the election code of conduct by attending a public rally in Swat.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Federal Minister Murad Saeed, and Provincial Ministers Mohibullah and Dr. Amjad Ali were all issued notices for violating election rules and regulations. Imran Khan was the first to receive a notice.

District Monitoring Officer of Swat, also issued the notices.
