Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has challenged Prime Minister Imran Khan to impose governor raj in the province of Sindh.
Bilawal Zardari has proposed that the governor rule be imposed immediately rather than tomorrow to the prime minister.
His tweet included a poem about the federal ministers’ threat to impose the governor’s rule. “Insha Allah, we will react to you after going to Islamabad,” he wrote, along with a link to the poem.
Meanwhile, Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh on Law and Administrator of Karachi, has stated that Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid’s demand for the imposition of governor raj in Sindh demonstrated the extent of panic among the ranks of the Pakistan Tehreek e insaf (PTI).
“Sh Rasheed’s statement regarding Governor rule in Sindh demonstrates the level of terror that prevails within the ranks of the PTI. ” Murtaza Wahab, who serves as the Sindh government’s spokesperson, tweeted in response to the interior minister’s suggestion: “It is unfortunate that a government that has lost the confidence of a majority of members of the National Assembly is contemplating such a move against a constitutional government.”
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed had written to Prime Minister Imran Khan on March 17 pleading with him to impose governor rule in the province of Sindh. He made this statement while speaking to the media after meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad.
Sheikh Rashid had expressed his displeasure by claiming that the PPP and the Sindh government were involved in purchasing the loyalty of MNAs and that the game of sell and purchase was openly taking place at the Sindh House.
He had also stated that he did not know whether the prime minister would accept his idea to impose governor control in Sindh, but he had firmly advised Imran Khan to impose governor rule in the province.
