Prime Minister Imran Khan considers PML-Q president and former premier Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to be his brother, said to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
“We discussed [allies’] reservations… “Politics, government, and the future is in our hands; politics, government, and the future is in our hands,” he declared during the ruling party’s core committee meeting led by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday in Islamabad.
The PML-Q has always supported the PTI and would continue to do so, according to Fawad.
In response to a question, the minister alleged three governing party MNAs were paid handsomely to support the opposition’s no-confidence move against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He added all party members have faith in PM Imran’s leadership and proposed calling a session of the National Assembly as soon as possible.
The session should not coincide with the OIC foreign ministers meeting in Islamabad on March 21, 22 and 23, he said.
“Bent on devising conspiracies” against a democratically elected government, he predicted the opposition would die if the no-trust resolution failed.
It will be the last game for these ‘three jokers’ who will depart from the political arena when the no-trust motion fails.
