Prime Minister Imran Khan says the state must end horse trading

Prime Minister Imran Khan said the state and judiciary had a duty to prevent “corrupt,” “convicted,” and other politicians from “toppling the state” through horse-trading.

When people facing legal proceedings band together to try to bring down the “country’s state,” when money is used to buy off people [lawmakers], when stolen money is used to buy people’s conscience, it is the state’s responsibility to speak out against these practises, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

This comes only days after the united opposition front tabled a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, hoping to gather support from angry governing party members and supporters.

They will discuss the opposition’s no-confidence resolution in the government over dinner tomorrow (Monday) at the residence of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly.
