Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), a coalition of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has concluded a two-day consultative meeting on the Opposition’s no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The meeting was held in response to the Opposition’s no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan .
In addition, the majority of PML-Q leaders expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s stance and pushed it to respond favourably to the opposition’s offer, which was reached in consultation with the other coalition factions.
The leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), Chaudhry Shujaat, commented after the meeting that the Prime Minister should use severe words, but that political leaders should avoid using insulting phrases against one another.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, indicated that if the opposition continues to support the administration, they will be forced to resign from their seats in the government. The opposition has agreed to enable the assemblies to be finished without interruption.
As a result of this, he announced that he expects to meet with the Leader of the Opposition in the near future. I expect the Speaker of the National Assembly to fulfil his constitutional responsibilities in this regard, and we will announce the approach together.
