Chaudhry Shujaat says Imran Khan would not have soiled politicians’ names if he had read Surah Al-Hujurat

Former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that while Prime Minister Imran Khan frequently speaks about the state of Madinah, it would have been preferable if he had translated verse 11 of Surah Al-Hujurat of the Holy Quran instead of making derogatory remarks against political figures.

If they had read the book, they would not have accused the political leaders and referred to them by pejorative names and titles throughout their talks.

After a meeting of PML-Q members, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain spoke to journalists informally, advising the parliamentarians to avoid using harsh language and to retain their dignity at all times.

The verse’s meaning, according to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, is “O ye who believe! ” Immediately following religion, males should refrain from making fun of other men because they may be superior to you, and women should refrain from making fun of other women because they may be superior to them. They should also refrain from blaming one another or referring to one another in a disrespectful manner. Fasiq is a derogatory phrase, and those who refuse to repent are the ones who have done wrong in the first place.”

I beg all politicians not to lose sight of the traditions of decency and tolerance that have guided them throughout their careers in politics,” the former prime minister said.
