Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has been nominated as the opposition’s candidate for the position of Chief Minister in the state of Punjab.
With the introduction of the opposition’s no-confidence resolution, there has been a bustle in the country’s political scene for some time.
Several members have expressed their unhappiness with their respective political parties at the present, which is understandable.
According to reports, the PML-Q has completed its consultation process, whilst the PPP has boosted its communication with government allies in recent months. The camel, on the other hand, has not yet come to a complete stop.
According to reports, the two major opposition parties, the PPP and the PML-N, have come to an agreement on the appointment of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly and President of the PML-Q, as Chief Minister of the province of Punjab, effective immediately.
As reported by official sources, the ruling coalition, which includes the PML-Q, the MQM, and the Baap Party, has joined the opposition in calling for a no-confidence vote in the federation’s government. In exchange, the opposition’s candidate for Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, has been nominated by the opposition.
The three coalition parties will also have a joint press conference with President Asif Ali Zardari tomorrow to discuss the issue more fully.
