Plane crashed in Mian Channu, no deaths reported

In the course of a regular flight, a small training airforce plane crashed near Mian Channu, in Punjab’s Khanewal district. The pilot was not injured.

According to reports, the plane was on routine training when it crashed near the Toll Plaza in Mian Channu.  The pilot of the aircraft was not injured, and there were no reports of either human or financial losses.

A large explosion could be heard shortly after the impact, and a blaze developed as a result. Following the receipt of the information, the rescue teams arrived on the scene to begin conducting rescue and relief operations.

According to initial reports, the cause of the crash was unable to be established.

In February of last year, a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) trainer jet crashed near Shorkot, in the Punjab district of Jhang. The pilot was killed. During a training mission, the Mirage jet crashed in Shorkot, Jhang, killing all on board. The pilot of the aircraft was able to escape harm.

In the year 2018, a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) training aircraft crashed during landing at the Peshawar Air Base, killing two pilots.
