Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is once again under discussion and Indians are demanding for his boycott. This time the conversation is not about any new project or joke. He has accused of not promoting a film about Kashmir in his show.
Kapil Sharma is facing criticism after tweet of Vivek Agnihotri, where he responded to a fan’s tweet. He said, “I can’t determine who to invite to Kapil Sharma’s show. It’s up to them and their producers to decide who to invite to the show.”
This is not the first time that Vivek has leveled such allegations against Kapil Sharma. He wrote in a tweet that they refused to invite us to their show because we do not have a commercial star.
The film ‘The Kashmir Files‘ revolves around Hindu Pandits living in Indian-administered Kashmir in the 1990s. Prominent actors in the film include Anupam Kher, Mithan Chakraborty and Paloli Joshi. Whereas, Vivek Agnihotri is producer of film.
Following Vivek’s tweets, social media users in India are demanding a boycott for Kapil Sharma and his show. A user wrote that Kapil Sharma’s show should boycotted because that there are no times for this show.
Kapil Sharma, on the other hand, has yet to reply to the accusations.
