Parties in opposition have reached out to the National Assembly Secretariat in order to begin the process of bringing a resolution of no confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Opposition leaders marched on Parliament in order to file a petition with the National Assembly Secretariat in order to bring a no-confidence resolution against the Prime Minister before the National Assembly.
There are a number of prominent leaders, including Ayaz Sadiq, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Aurangzeb, Shazia Murree of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and Shahida Akhtar Ali and Alia Kamran of the Joint United Front (JUI).
It is expected that the proposal for the relocation of the National Assembly session and the motion for a vote of no confidence would be introduced at the same time.
During an extraordinary meeting of the parliamentary party, which was presided over by PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, members of the party signed a resolution committing them to bringing a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
