Opposition gathered at Zardari House to finalize no-trust move

A crucial meeting of the opposition leaders is likely to take place at Zardari House to finalize the no-trust move.

According to insiders, the opposition leaders will finish their talks on the political chess game that will be played in response to the no-trust move.

Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will meet with former president Asif Ali Zardari to discuss the numbers game surrounding the opposition parties’ vote of no confidence in the government.

According to insiders, the leaders will put the finishing touches on their overall game plan.

According to sources, Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, would pay a visit to Zardari House after conducting a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary party.

In addition to inviting Shehbaz Sharif and Fazlur Rehman to the meeting, Asif Ali Zardari will host a meal in their honor, according to reliable sources.

In light of recent political developments, the senior leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has reached out to PTI Punjab leader and MPA Aleem Khan, who is planning to create a joint group with the party’s estranged leader Jahangir Tareen.

According to people with knowledge of the situation, Aleem Khan has met with more than two dozen members of the Punjab Assembly over the course of the last three days.

It was reported that “Aleem Khan will meet with members of the like-minded group at the residence of Jahangir Tareen,” where they will “likely” formulate a strategy for moving forward in light of current political developments.”

 Jahangir Tareen will consult with like-minded parliamentarians via video link on a no-confidence motion against the existing government, according to reports.

According to people with knowledge of the conference’s specifics, Tareen would preside over the meeting via video link from London, and they would deliberate on a plan in the event that a no-trust motion is brought against the administration.
