US strongly condemns the Peshawar mosque blast

More than 50 people were killed and dozens of others were critically injured in the horrible bomb blast at a mosque in Peshawar, which was condemned by the United States (US).

“We condemn the barbaric attack on a mosque in Peshawar that resulted in the deaths or injuries of a large number of peaceful worshippers,” the US Department of State stated in a statement.

“We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the families and friends of the victims. Pakistan is mourned in solidarity by the United States, according to the statement released.

According to the latest death toll from the bomb blast at a Peshawar mosque in Qissa Khwani Bazaar, the total death toll has risen to 56, with more people succumbing to their injuries in the hospital.

After the mosque blast killed 56 people, a representative for the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar reported that the death toll had risen to 56. A total of 194 injured people have been transported to LRH Peshawar, with some of them in serious condition.

During Friday prayers at Jamia Mosque, which is located near Kocha – e – Rasladar Chowk in Qisa Khwani Bazar, a bomb went off inside the mosque.

Two attackers entered the mosque after opening fire on the two police officers who were stationed outside the building. As a result, one of the policemen was killed on the spot, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, according to reports.
