Yaar Muhammad, the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister(PM) on Balochistan Natural Resources, has resigned from his position.
He resigned from his job, according to sources, because he was dissatisfied with the Federal Government and the leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insanf (PTI).
Yaar Muhammad Rind has stated that he is unable to perform the role of dummy advisor. I am not invited to any of the meetings that are held to discuss Baluchistan’s problems. He went on to say that he felt “practically powerless.”
He stated that he had previously decided to quit, but that he had changed his mind after the Prime Minister told him that problems would be resolved. However, he went on to say that this time his decision was definite and irreversible.
Yaar’s decision to leave as Special Advisor comes at a critical juncture in the country’s political history. The decision has come at a time when the opposition parties are preparing to submit a resolution of no confidence against the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The opposition committee has also suggested that the motion be moved as soon as possible, arguing that they are capable to succeeding even without the assistance of Alliant parties.
The Baloch politician Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind is a member of the Baloch Provincial Assembly, where he represents the province of Balochistan. He is the President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan Section and the PTI’s Parliamentary Leader in the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
