Shahid Afridi thanks foreign players for PSL’s success

Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistan cricket team captain, has expressed gratitude to cricket fans, police officers, and law enforcement officials for helping to make the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) a memorable and successful event.

Shahid Afridi, who is playing for the Quetta Gladiators this season, posted on Twitter that he was grateful to all of the overseas cricketers that took part in the competition and helped to make it a memorable experience.

In spite of the global wave of Corona this season, the Pakistan Super League event has not been delayed or halted, but the previous two editions of the competition were forced to be relocated to the United Arab Emirates because of the circumstances in COVID19.

It should be noted that this was the first time the final has been held in Gaddafi Stadium since 2017.
