At the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s Awards, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle praised brave Ukrainian people. They paid a huge respect to the citizens of war-torn country. However, the couple is no longer members of the British royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently made their big Hollywood appearance at NAACP Image Awards. When it comes to public service and great accomplishments, they received the President’s Award in recognition of their efforts.
Prince Harry expressed gratitude for the prize. He said, “We will want to express our appreciation to the people of Ukraine. They urgently require our continuing assistance as a global community. We have received from this community tonight and we are really appreciative for this honour.”
At the occasion, both also spoke about a variety of global challenges and social injustices that they have involved with. Earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan released a statement expressing their support for the people of brave Ukrainian people.
They posted a statement their Archwell website. The couple said, “We stand together and encourage the international community and its leaders to express sympathy with the people of Ukraine.”
