Akhtar Mengal, the leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), paid a visit to Shahbaz Sharif at his residence in Lahore and reviewed the current situation in the country.
The Leader of the Opposition, Shahbaz Sharif, spoke to the media after the meeting with Sardar Akhtar Mengal and stated that the federation must provide proper recognition to minor provinces and that we must work hard to resolve the concerns of small provinces with sincerity.
He stated that if we want to bring Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s goal of Pakistan into disrepute, we must respect the rights of tiny provinces, and in order to do so, the country’s big brother, the Punjab province, must step forward.
Upon being asked about the preparations for the no-confidence motion, the PML-N president stated that preparations were being made in order to bring a no-confidence motion, and that other opposition parties were participating in this process as well.
