Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the leader of the Pakistan National Party (BNP), met with opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif at his mansion in Lahore to discuss the no-confidence motion.
BNP Mengal, according to Shahbaz Sharif, is on our side as well. The opposition parties have expanded their political contacts in order to ensure the success of the no-confidence motion.
Accordingly, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, leader of the BNP Mengal, travelled to Lahore, where he met Shahbaz Sharif, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), to discuss the situation.
The discussion between Akhtar Mengal and Shahbaz Sharif, according to sources, also covered other topics, including the possibility of a no-confidence motion against the current government.
According to party sources, Akhtar Mengal is also slated to meet with former President Asif Ali Zardari following his meeting with Shahbaz Sharif.
