In 2022, Pakistani visual artist Laraib Atta and her crew got nomination for Oscars and BAFTAs for their work. She is daughter of vateran Pakistani singer Attaullah Khan EsaKhelvi, who is widely regarded as one of greatest artists.
Nominations for ‘Best Original Song’, ‘Best Song’, and ‘Best Visual Effects,’ all went to ‘No Time to Die’, the most recent Bond film. Whereas, Laraib Atta is a young Pakistani artist and serves as the digital compositor for the film. The crew has also nominated for ‘Best Special Visual Effects’ at BAFTA 2022.
She is one of the youngest female visual effects artists in the world. Moreover, she worked on ‘Godzilla,’ “X-Men: Days of Futures Past, and “Mission: Impossible – Fallout.”
