10 terrorists killed in Balochistan IBO: ISPR

Security forces killed ten terrorists on Wednesday during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Balochistan region of Hoshab, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to the army’s media wing, security forces carried out an operation in the Balochistan region of Hoshab on February 23 in response to information about the presence of terrorists’ hideouts.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was stated that “on February 23, 2022, Security Forces conducted an operation to apprehend externally sponsored enemies of peace in Balochistan based on information of the presence of terrorists’ camp and hideout in general area Hoshab, Balochistan.”

After the military began cordoning off the area, terrorists attempted to exit their hiding and initiated indiscriminate fire, resulting in an intense exchange of fire. Consequently, 10 terrorists, including terrorist Comd Master Asif alias Mukesh, were killed in an exchange of fire, according to an ISPR press release.

According to the ISPR, these terrorists were involved in recent incidents involving gunfire and attacks on security forces in the Turbat and Pasni districts.

According to the ISPR, a large cache of weapons and ammunition had also been discovered, which had been intended for use against security forces.

“Operations to capture perpetrators of terrorist activities will continue, and they will not be permitted to damage the peace, stability, and growth of Balochistan,” the statement added.
