Shehbaz Sharif to be Prime Minister of Pakistan if no-trust motion succeeds

Former President Asif Ali Zardari has stated that if a no-trust motion is succeeded, Mian Shehbaz Sharif will be appointed as prime minister of Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif has also received the approval of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and Mian Nawaz Sharif for the position of prime minister.

This was determined at a meeting of the PML-N, the PPP, and the JUI-F, which took place on Wednesday in Lahore at the residence of Shehbaz Sharif in Model Town.

During their meeting, the three major leaders – Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman – also discussed the number of parliamentarians required for the success of a no-trust motion, and they all expressed satisfaction with the number of parliamentarians required.

They agreed that the no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan should be brought first.

Zardari will finalize his plan for negotiating with the Chaudhry brothers in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has arrived at the residence of the Chaudhry brothers, where he has held discussions with them about the current political situation.
