A letter from Raja Azhar, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to the party’s leadership requesting that “disciplinary action” be taken against MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain in response to the latter’s recent remarks on the MQM and its founder Altaf Hussain.
The member from Karachi’s PS-97, in a letter, addressed to PTI Secretary General Asad Umar, alleged that a video of Aamir Liaquat had just gone viral, in which he was purportedly speaking about his relationship with the MQM and expressing support with MQM founder Altaf Hussain.
The letter stated that ” the MNA has earlier on a number of occasions, in violation of party policy, used abusive language towards the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and specifically against Prime Minister Imran Khan.”

He urged that the party institute appropriate disciplinary action against Aamir in accordance with the party’s norms and regulations.
