Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad provided calm to a country in turmoil says DG ISPR

In a statement, Major General Babar Iftikhar of the Pakistan Army said that the fifth anniversary of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was being commemorated today.

The Director General of the Pakistan Security and Public Relations (DG ISPR) stated in a message on the social networking site Twitter that Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was intended at consolidating the benefits of the government’s two-decade-long fight on terror and destroying terrorist remnants across the country.
It was his statement that the primary goal of the operation was to safeguard the security of the Pakistani people.

According to the Director General of the ISPR, the operation continued successfully, as a consequence of which the country was able to emerge from its hazardous circumstances and achieve peace.

In a tweet, the Director General of the ISPR stated that the Army Chief stated that we salute the sacrifices of the martyrs as well as the determination and courage of the people of Afghanistan.
