Airport Security Force salaries increased by 15%: Sheikh Rasheed

Interior minister Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has announced that the government has agreed to increase the salaries of Airport Security Force (ASF) employees by 15 percent, in line with the pay increases for other civilian armed forces.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has given his approval in this regard on February 18, according to a statement released by the government. He went on to say that the Airport Security Force (ASF) staff would see a rise in their pay starting on March 1.

During a recent press conference, the minister stated that the prime minister had approved a 15 percent rise in the salary of the civil armed forces. He went on to say that the administration has already announced a 15 percent discrepancy allowance for federal government employees in grades one through nineteen.

On February 18, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that the government had increased the salary of Frontier Corps and Rangers personnel by 15%.

“I am completely aware that we are living in an inflationary period. Unfortunately, the entire world has been engulfed by a wave of price inflation. Even countries with the ability to create their own currencies, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, are experiencing unprecedented inflation after 40 and 30 years, respectively. As a result, I am completely aware of the hardships that the salaried class of the country is experiencing,” Imran Khan said in Naushki while addressing officers and men of the Frontier Corps and Pakistan Rangers.
