Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for 11 years and he still remembers every detail of the proposing moments that transformed their lives forever.
William and Kate Middleton met at Andrews University while they were both 19 years old and studying. Before moving into a shared residence with several friends, they were close friends.
There was approximately three weeks on vacation in Kenya. The pair toured the nation and saw a number of tourist attractions. Prince William were proposing Kate in Kenya in 2010 using his late mother’s engagement ring.
It wasn’t a huge surprise that they decided to marry each other. At a celebration of the UK’s connection with Africa held at Buckingham Palace, Prince William revealed why he chose the continent as the site for the momentous occasion.
He stated, “I have a great affection for the continent of Africa. When my mother passed away, my father took me and my brother there. While choosing on the perfect location to propose, I couldn’t think of a better spot than Kenya.
Kate and William have married in a stunning ceremony at Westminster Abbey in 2011. They have welcomed three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
