During a recent performance, Billie Eilish made a statements about concert safety. Whereas, Kanye West misinterpreted for a dig at fellow rapper and Astroworld Festival co-founder Travis Scott.
Eilish never identified Scott but Kanye West uploaded a photo of the same on Instagram. He said, “Billie Eilish dissed Travis Scott during her performance when she stopped the show to give her fan an inhaler.” Come on Billie, we love you and please apologise to Trav and the families of the victims.”
“Literally never mentioned anything about Travis,” Billie Eilish commented about her statements shortly after Kanye’s post. After spotting a fan struggling to breathe, Billie decided to cancel her show in Atlanta earlier this week. After the inhaler has handed to the fan, the show went on as planned. Billie has previously assisted a concertgoer who was on the verge of passing out at one of her performances in 2018.
West and Eilish will both headline Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It will take place in Indio, California from April 15-17 and 22-24 this year. Prior to the Astroworld catastrophe, Scott has set to be the event’s headlining act. However, he withdrew his name from consideration after 10 concertgoers died and hundreds have injured.
